Spinning Acres is a unique award-winning build-to-rent development set in the conservation area of Far Headingley, which is being developed in Phases. This scheme boasts a green open space at the centre of the scheme with many breath-taking mature trees throughout the site, a very unusual, exclusive, and secure setting. Far Headingley became a fashionable address for the wealthier textile mill owners who sought sanctuary from the city, building impressive stone villas and we take the textile history of Leeds as our inspiration for Spinning Acres.

This site was latterly forming part of Leeds University student accommodation campus called Tetley Hall and we have named the first road into the site, Tetley Gate, our finest homes are sited on this road. This site is being developed in phases and we are excited about the next phases on the site.

The Masons on the Green is another successful rental development situated in the conservation area of Horsforth. This refurbishment of an existing 200 year building the Black Bull public house to create five one and two-bedroom apartments whilst retaining and refurbing the pub took place in 2020.

As well as the apartments there are three townhouses in this Horsforth development, which form a continuation of a stone terrace to the rear. These are addressed as ‘Drury Lane’ are all three-story, three-bedroom and finished to an exceptional standard.

Horsforth is also renowned for its fine quarries, which date back to medieval Leeds. Brick from these quarries, known as Horsforth stone, figured largely in many local buildings, shaping the architectural profile of Horsforth and the surrounding areas.

Keen to preserve its heritage, the quarrying industry has been the inspiration behind our latest development, referenced not only by its name – The Masons on the Green – but by the names of our three townhouses: Quarry House, Mason House, and Yorkstone House.
