Leeds Varsity 2019

Pickard Properties was delighted to be sponsoring Leeds Varsity this year and the experience certainly did not disappoint. We enjoyed two days of fantastic sportsmanship and the grand rugby union finale was incredible.

Leeds Beckett University took the title at the Varsity this year, achieving a phenomenal 102 points to University of Leeds’s 78 points. This is in contrast to last year’s results, where University of Leeds won by 31 points to 30.

We send a huge congratulations to Leeds Beckett University on their win. However, we enjoyed watching teams from both of the universities compete — especially those we sponsored — and each was full of highly talented players and athletes.

The whole event was great fun to watch and Pickard Properties is thrilled to have been part of such an exciting student event.
