Pickard Properties show Varsity support for third consecutive event

Pickard Properties has announced that it is the headline sponsor for Leeds Varsity 2023.

Taking place from Monday 1st May to Wednesday 3rd of May, the sporting event will see the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University go head-to-head at more than 60 sporting events attended by more than 60,000 people.

Having sponsored Leeds Varsity in 2019 and 2022, Pickard Properties has a strong heritage of supporting university sports in the city and long-established relationships with students’ sports teams from the city’s two major universities.

The family-owned property developer, landlord and lettings specialist is expert in student property lettings in the city of Leeds, with an emphasis on providing outstanding student housing.

The University of Leeds claimed its second Varsity title at last year’s, as the two universities renewed their intense sporting rivalry.

Miles Pickard, owner of Pickard Properties, said: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring Varsity 2023 and to continue to support student sports in Leeds and the wider West Yorkshire region.

“The atmosphere during Varsity is really impressive, and the standard across the different sports is really good, so it should hopefully be a competitive and enjoyable three days for everyone involved.

“Sport is a great outlet for the mental health of students and a way for them to enjoy themselves, and we’re very proud to be able to support that.”
