The majority of Far Headingley and Headingley’s restaurants and cafés are located on Otley Road. Heaney & Mill is open from 9am to 11pm daily, offering delicious food throughout the day. Meanwhile Loaf is an independent, family-owned café offering a locally sourced menu, homemade cakes, and dark wood coffee.

There’s also Bare Coffee where you can pick up some freshly baked sourdough bread and your veggies too, and Fika North — both of which are extremely good.

For dining out, all tastes are catered for in the Far Headingley area, and there are many eateries of note, including Zaap on St Anne’s Road, famous for its Thai menu and South East Asian wood panels and statues, which create a fabulously authentic Thai dining experience. Or Jino’s Thai Cafe on North Lane, which is also highly rated.

If your preference is Indian food, then The Cat’s Pyjamas on the Otley Road will not disappoint. Lovers of Greek food will find the Santorini Bar and Grill next door to The Cat’s Pyjamas a great eating place. And fast food lovers will not go far wrong with the kebab shop, I am Döner – delicious!
